【概要】
昨年（2021年）没後100年、今年（2022年）生誕150年を迎える、フランス近代の作曲家、デオダ・ド・セヴラックの全ピアノ作品を、4～5回の演奏会（ライブ録音）で網羅します。各演奏会のプログラムは、セヴラックのピアノ曲のみならず、関連作曲家の作品や、セヴラックの歌曲を交えながら構成します。

＜第2回コンサートについて＞
コンサート・シリーズの第2回目は、今日もっともよく演奏されるセヴラックの円熟期の傑作をお届けします。絵画的組曲《セルダーニャ》、《陽光のもとで水浴びをする女たち》の各曲は音楽的、技巧的にも頂点をなし、アルフレッド・コルトー、イヴ・ナット、マルグリット・ロンといった当時の名ピアニストに献呈され、絶賛されています。ピレネーの太陽のもとで繰り広げられるカタルーニャ地方の歌と踊りをお楽しみください。

南仏ラングドックの彼の生家が舞台となった《休暇の日々より》第1集は、セヴラックの幸せな子ども時代が映し出された「思い出の音楽」です。大人になってからしみじみと思いを馳せる、はるか彼方の追憶の世界へようこそ。

そして最後に、セヴラックの歌曲を演奏します。彼が40才を過ぎてから授かった愛娘、マガリのはじめての誕生日のために書かれた《私のかわいいお人形さん》は、フランスの有名な子守唄として知られています。続いて南仏の村人の《クリスマスの歌》、セヴラックの愛した山並みがそのまま音楽となった《山の夜明け》の3曲を、柔らかで豊かな声質をお持ちのソプラノ、松原えりかさんに歌っていただきます（深尾由美子）。

【演奏者プロフィール】
深尾 由美子 FUKAO Yumiko（ピアノ）

桐朋学園大学音楽学部ピアノ科卒業後、演奏活動をおこない日本の国内外の一流ソリストとの共演も多数。

2007年フランス・リヨン国立音楽院室内楽科を首席で修了。ピアノソロをカタルーニャ人ピアニスト、テレサ・リャックーナ女史に師事。セヴラック研究においては、オルガン奏者で音楽学の分野での権威、ソルボンヌ大学元教授ピエール・ギヨ?氏から薫陶を受ける。

2021年桐朋学園大学大学院博士後期課程修了。論文「セヴラックの創作思想と作品」により博士（音楽）の学位を取得。音楽学研究と演奏を相互に生かした活動を展開する。

フランスのヴァイオリンの至宝ジェラール・プーレとのデュオによるスペイン風味のセヴラック、ラヴェル、サラサーテ、ファリャの作品集「ピレネーの太陽」、ピアノソロ・アルバム「セヴラック、失われた時の音楽」の両盤（キング・インターナショナル）は、「レコード芸術」誌で≪特選盤≫となる。そのピアノ演奏については、「?フランス流儀の色彩溢れる音色が美しく、生き生きとした表情とともにセヴラックの魅力を堪能させてくれる」、「?こめられた気品と詩的ニュアンスには並々ならぬものがある。音楽に詩情を求める聴き手にとって、これは珠玉の１枚である」と評された。

[Overview]
This program will cover the complete piano works of the French composer Deodat de Severac in four or five concerts (live recordings). The program for each concert will include not only Severac's piano works, but also works by related composers and Severac's songs.

-About the concert vol. 2-
In the second concert of this series, we present some of Severac's most popular masterpieces from his mature years. The pictorial suite "Cerdana" and "Baigneuses au soleil―Souvenir de Banyuls Sur Mer" are the pinnacle of musical and technical mastery, and have been dedicated to such acclaimed pianists of the time as Alfred Cortot, Yves Natt, and Marguerite Long. Enjoy the songs and dances of Catalonia under the sun of the Pyrenees.

Set in his birthplace in Languedoc in the south of France, "En vacances Vol. 1" is "music of memories," reflecting Severac's happy childhood. Welcome to the far-off world of reminiscence, which we can recall with great fondness in our adult lives.

Finally, I will perform Severac's songs. "Ma poupee cherie" written for the first birthday of his beloved daughter, Magali, whom he gave birth to when he was over 40, is a famous French lullaby. Then, Erika Matsubara, a soprano with a soft and rich voice, will sing three pieces: "Chant de Noel" by a villager in the south of France, and "A l’aube dans la montagne", which is a piece of music based on Severac's beloved mountains.(Fukao Yumiko)

FUKAO Yumiko (piano):

After graduating from Toho Gakuen School of Music, she has been active in performing and has performed with many leading soloists in Japan and Europe.Her repertoire is very extensive. She has specialized for some years in the study of the music of Deodat de Severac, a French composer of the end of the 19th century, and has become a faithful and ardent interpreter of his works.

In 2007, she completed the chamber music course at the Conservatoire National de Region de Lyon in France with first prize. She has studied piano solo with Catalan pianist Teresa Llacuna. In her studies of Severac, she was trained by Pierre Guillot, an organist and authority in the field of musicology and a former professor at the Sorbonne.In 2021, she completed the doctoral course at Toho Gakuen School of Music. She received her doctorate in music from Toho Gakuen University in 2021 with a thesis entitled "A Study in the Compositional Ideas and Works of Deodat de Severac: Especially on His Reception of Gregorian Chant and “Chanson Populaire”, and the Extension of “mediterraneisme”. She has been active in the fields of musicology research and performance.

Her duo album with French violinist Gerard Poulet, "Le Soleil des Pyrenees," a collection of Spanish-flavored works by Severac, Ravel, Sarasate, and Falla, and her solo piano album "Severac, la musique de temps perdu" were both selected as "A Recording Arts Award" by "Record Geijutsu" magazine.

Her piano performance was highly praised like, "The French-style tone full of colors is beautiful, and with its lively expression, it lets you enjoy the charm of Severac." ,"The elegance and poetic nuance of the music are extraordinary. For listeners who seek poetic sentiment in music, this is a gem of a piece” in the several magazines and newspapers.

She is a member of the Musicological Society of Japan, the Severac Society of Japan, and the Faure Society of Japan and the reviewing committee member of the Japanese Society for Spanish Piano Music.
